I’m Emily Bridges, former anxiety and panic attack sufferer. I used to be a pothead. Five years ago, I never had a day that was free from anxiety and worry, and my panic attacks were just getting worse and closer together. I didn’t want to make plans or even leave the house for fear that I’d end up having a panic attack that would disrupt everything.

I went to doctor after doctor trying to figure out what I could do. I tried medications, herbal remedies, and therapy. For a long time, nothing worked. But I was sure learning a lot about the different potential cures for anxiety and panic attacks! I kept all that information I learned, and I decided to share it with others who, like me, were just looking for a cure for the monster called anxiety.

Finally, after a couple of years of searching, I found a combination of anxiety cures that worked for me, and I hope they’ll work for you, too. I tried a couple of at-home programs that really worked for me, and you’ll find reviews of those and other similar programs here on this blog. On this blog, you’ll also find all sorts of posts that come from my personal experience with anxiety and panic attacks.

I started this blog in hopes of giving you, and other anxiety sufferers, a light at the end of the tunnel. Instead of spending hours and hours online researching different cures, like I had to do, you’ll hopefully be able to find them all in one easy resource here. Here, you’ll find information about herbal remedies for anxiety, programs that worked for me or hundreds of other anxiety sufferers, exercises for stopping panic attacks in their tracks, cognitive therapy for anxiety, and information about how panic attacks actually affect your brain.

The information here is gathered from all corners of the internet, so you know you’re getting the best of what’s around. I’ve read information from different doctors and from lots of websites focused on anxiety and panic attacks, specifically – and in this blog, I’ve tried to distill that information into something that you can really use to combat anxiety and panic attacks in your own life.

I know from personal experience that panic attacks and anxiety are not something to mess with. Don’t spend another day just coping with your anxiety. Although I didn’t struggle with OCD personally, for instance, I’ve done lots of research on OCD because I think its connection to anxiety is interesting. I’ve looked at how OCD and anxiety are related, and how you can solve anxiety by dealing with OCD.

I’ve also researched different medications for anxiety, so you can get the truth about what these medications are and how they work. While I prefer natural anxiety solutions, I’m certainly not anti-medication for everyone in every situation. If you think you might need to be on anxiety medications but are uncertain what to ask your doctor about, you can get the information you need here. Since doctors will often just prescribe one option without talking to you about other possibilities, it’s great to do a little reading on your own about medications for anxiety before you visit with your doctor or psychiatrist.
